The Lowland Place

Set inside a recently renovated Spanish-style apartment in Orange, California, The Lowland Place blends warm modern interiors with vintage character and layered, moody textures. The project began with a client who trusted Nested Interior Design completely to shape the vision, allowing the apartment to come together quickly and cohesively.

Built around a vintage 1970s striped sofa sourced locally at the start of the project, the space layers burl wood, original art, sculptural lighting, rich textiles, and collected vintage finds to create a home that feels elevated yet deeply livable. Designed for hosting, record nights, and everyday life, the result feels warm, personal, and timeless.
